Education Abroad Administrator/Coordinator Responsibilities – CCIE Survey

California Colleges for International Education (CCIE) is updating the responsibilities on a daily, weekly, and annual basis of an Education Abroad administrator/coordinator. We can as a community then use these to advocate for our positions and recognitions.

The original list was created in 1994 by Gary Rhodes, Lisa Loberg, and Ann Hubbard in “The Many Responsibilities of a Study Abroad Administrator Or How About a Pat on the Back and an Aspirin.”

ACG American-German Young Leaders Conference

Freeman Awards for Study in Asia Accepting Student Applications

IIE is now accepting applications for the Freeman Awards for Study in Asia (Freeman-ASIA)! Freeman-ASIA provides scholarships for U.S. undergraduate students with demonstrated financial need to study abroad in East or Southeast Asia. The program’s goal is to increase the number of U.S. citizens and permanent residents with first-hand exposure to and understanding of Asia and its peoples and cultures.
