Three California community colleges students from American River College, Foothill College, and Riverside College were accepted to participate in the Community College Global Affairs Fellowship (CCGAF) in Washington, DC in Summer 2023 from May 30 – August 16. These finalists were among 30 fellows chosen out of over 140 exemplary applicants. CCGAF is a fully paid summer enrichment and mentorship program that seeks to expand access to global education opportunities and international affairs careers.
MiraCosta College is the recipient of the 2022 CCIE Institutional Grant. With their funding, they created a Co-curricular Virtual International Exchange: Umoja – ESCO-IGES Burkina Faso.
Orange Coast College proposes to have the Marine Science Department develop a program with three marine science study abroad classes at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland.
