Open Call for the Treasurer Position

Term Length: 3-5 years

Leadership Role: It is preferred that the Treasurer be an acting Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, President or Vice-President of a California community college and/or District. The CCIE Treasurer appoints a staff member to complete required work.

DUTIES

  1. be responsible for the collection, safekeeping, and expenditure of all funds of the organization
  2. maintain accurate financial records
  3. maintain accurate and current membership list and send off invoices on quarterly basis
  4. make reports to the Board of Officers
  5. coordination non-profit and tax status with the Deputy Treasurer

MEETINGS: The Board of Officers meet 2-3 times annually via ZOOM. For each meeting, the treasurer prepares a state-of-the finance report
