CCIE Director, Rosalind Raby, presented at the NAFSA Region XII session held on June 5, 2025 titled: “Wearing Too Many Hats: Community College Education Abroad Leadership Duties & Responsibilities“. It was an engaging virtual session designed for community college professionals working in international education. This session explored the critical roles and responsibilities of education abroad leaders at U.S. community colleges and explored findings from a recent CCIE survey on the daily, weekly, and annual responsibilities of education abroad leaders. It also introduced the new Community College International Education Research Initiative, highlighting efforts to document global learning opportunities across two-year colleges.
