CCIE – California Colleges for International Education

CCIE Hosts a Financial Aid and Study Abroad Webinar

Financial aid is an essential tool to help community college students study abroad. However, use of financial aid is greatly misunderstood in terms of access and legalities. CCIE is pleased to announce a Webinar on Financial Aid and Study Abroad. Studies show that a need-based grant aid increases a student’s probability of participating in education abroad by 50-71% (see Whatley & Clayton, 2020). The importance of providing students with correct information on financial aid and other need and non-need based grant aid therefore is critical.
