Call for Proposals – Assessment and Evaluation in Community College/Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Education Abroad

Community college education abroad has existed for over sixty years and, while the number of U.S. community colleges that offer education abroad is low compared to universities, it is clear that international programming thrives in this context. Please send the abstract for consideration to Guest Editor Melissa Whatley, melissa.whatley@sit.edu, with the subject line “Frontiers CC/TVET Proposal” by November 28, 2022 for full consideration

Open Call for the Treasurer Position

Term Length: 3-5 years
Leadership Role: It is preferred that the Treasurer be an acting Chancellor, Vice-Chancellor, President or Vice-President of a California community college and/or District. The CCIE Treasurer appoints a staff member to complete required work.

CASE Applications are Open

We are delighted to announce that the CASE: Community, Activism, and Social Entrepreneurship Program is now accepting applicants for our very first cohort. This program is exclusively for students at 2-year institutions or students seeking 2-year non-baccalaureate degrees at 4-year institutions.

Most international students want to stay in the U.S.

FWD.us, the pro-immigration,bipartisan lobbying group, has released a new report on international students that show most of them (73%) would like to stay in the U.S. following graduation, with more than a third (38%) wishing to stay for four years or more.

CCIE Moving Forward: Celebrating our Member Colleges

CCIE is creating a Celebration to Moving Forward platform for the CCIE web-site that celebrates the work done by our Member Colleges. CCCFLC Announces their 30 Year Anniversary Conference!

The CCFLC conference is a free event hosted by Mt. San Antonio College. The conference will be in-person and held at Mt. SAC on Saturday, October 22nd, from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
