IEM Roundtable
Please join us for a roundtable discussion on Hot Topics in International Enrollment Management, hosted by your regional IEM KC rep – Violet R Ket. In light of many recent changes and proposals that affect the IEM and student recruitment world, we’ll discuss things like:
- The proposed elimination of Duration of Status and transfer regulations for F and J students
- The H-1B presidential proclamation and how it affects your enrollments
- Marketing strategies in response to the political climate
- Leadership support (or lack thereof)
- Recruitment and enrollment priorities
And more. Please, note that this is an open discussion event, and everyone is encouraged to participate and share what their offices struggle with.

The UC Davis Global Learning Conference committee invites you to submit a session proposal for this year’s Global Learning Conference on the theme of Developing as Compassionate Global Leaders.
Hosted by the UC Davis Global Learning Hub, this year’s UC Davis Global Learning Conference: Developing as Compassionate Global Leaders will be held on April 11, 2026 from 1–6 p.m., at the UC Davis International Center. The UC Davis Global Learning Conference strives to offer a balanced and engaging program that helps undergraduate and master’s students reflect on and advance their global learning experiences in ways that inspire growth, compassion, and forward-thinking leadership.
This year, concurrent sessions will be 65 minutes in length and should be connected to the theme of developing as compassionate global leaders while focusing on one or both of the following areas:
Hosted by the UC Davis Global Learning Hub, this year’s UC Davis Global Learning Conference: Developing as Compassionate Global Leaders will be held on April 11, 2026 from 1–6 p.m., at the UC Davis International Center.
